International - Go It Alone |

Guiders may also opt to travel together without their units and many decide to visit one on the Four World Centres. Over the past four years, two Guiders within Forth Valley have completed their self set challenge of visiting all Four World Centres before the beginning of the centenary. They began with Pax Lodge, London and Our Cabana, Mexico and were accompanied by a 3rd Leader. Then was Our Chalet in Switzerland and they have just returned from Sangam in India. Full stories and photographs of their trips will be here soon. |

Trips like these lead to all sorts of opportunities with one Guider since returning to Mexico and taking a trip to Switzerland with a group of adults from North Yorkshire North East which she met in Mexico on her first trip. And another couple having been invited to two centenary camps in England in the summer of 2010. This is the tip of the iceberg, Guiding is full of friends just waiting to be found and travelling abroad with Guiding is the perfect way to find them. |
If you are thinking of planning a trip abroad please complete the G/P form and return it to your CIA and she will be in contact with you to arrange a planning meeting. If you have been abroad either through selection or by organising your own trip you should provide a short report with photographs to your County International Adviser. If you have been anywhere please send these to Becky so she can get them on the website for all to see what a wonderful experience it can be. |
