COUNTY CAMP
Another very successful County Camp was held at Gartocharn, Loch Lomond last weekend, with wonderful weather and over 300 guides taking part.

CENTENARY OF GUIDING 2010

 

 

 


Plans are already at an advanced stage for the celebrations which will take part around the country in 2010 when we celebrate 100 years of Guiding.  Your District Commissioners will be passing on all the exciting plans to you soon, but Gill Scott, our Centenary Champion will have all the details and can be contacted  -gill.scott67@btinternet.com

They will be performing on Friday 8th August at 7.30pm in St Mary's Church, Haddington....or on Saturday 9th August at 7.30pm in St Mary's Cathedral in Edinburgh

ANNUAL EVENT

If you missed this year's Annual Event in the Tolbooth Stirling on 27th May, see our photos page for some of the highlights.....
There was a Presentation by Anne Young on her 2007 GOLD trip
to Madagascar, entertainment by 3rd Falkirk Brownies and 3rd Bo'ness Rainbows.
3rd Bridge of Allan Guides told about their visit to Our Chalet in Switzerland, County Trophies were presented for the Swimming Gala, Brownie Toadstool and First Aid Competitions.
A cheque for £350 was presented to CHAS on behalf of Forth Valley Rainbows who are celebrating their 21st birthday in 2008!

Congratulations to Emma Tinlin who received this years Spirit of Guiding Award..

RAINBOW 21ST BIRTHDAY
Forth Valley Rainbows recently celebrated their 21st birthday by holding a Party in Bo'ness Town Hall.  300 Rainbows from all over the County took part and they had a Magical Day with games crafts and a real live magician!
